My baby's head was quite deeply engaged at my last ultrasound--34 weeks 5 days. I am now 37 weeks 2 days and still pregnant. The Ob/gyn who did my ultrasound told me that for a first pregnancy (which mine is) you have at most 2-4 weeks before labour, when the head is that engaged. Of course, there are people who fall outside that set number of weeks. In the end, no body can tell for sure.

My babys head was 3/5's engaged at 34 weeks and here i am 4 days away from my 40 week due date!
