Does the time span in between pregnancies affect your labor and delivery time? My first labor was 6 hours. My second - only 1 hour and 15 min. Now I am pregnant again - 9 years later! Can the long time span in between births cause me to have a longer labor? Has anyone had a similar experience?

1 hr and 15 min, wow! I wish. My first child was just short of 73 hrs start to finish. I sure hope you have a nice short labor but with that kind of space who knows. I think once you've already had a child the rule is that each following child is suposed to be easier to deliver, so the cards are in your favor. Good Luck.

Hello I have 2 boys and my oldes is five and the youngest is 7 months I thought tha same thing too but my wfirst labor was 271/2 hours my second was only 2/12-3hours so I would say the same thing as Mommy_Erin23 about each following being easieras long as there are no complications. I hope my next labor will be much shorter i just found out a couple days ago that I am pregnant again so I hope it is easier.
Good luck.
