Sorry, I typed that wrong. I get so excited. Up and down from finger to wrist is boy. Left to right accross the wrist is girl. Circles inbetween babies. Up and down and accross with no circles mean twins.

Ursula...how do you know it's by coincidence. Maybe your gender birth has already been determined and that's why the pencil knows what your having before you have it..

I've done the pencil test on more than 20 people, all of which it has predicted EXACT sex and EXACT order of baby. I don't believe in hocus pocus either, but it's quite strange how it works. Only a fool would blow it off. I would say to this person," grab a pencil, needle, and thread - try it on as many people as you like - it will always work. Try explaining that away with your graphite and blood reasoning please.

no I haven't heard

I have done the "pencil test" 4 times, one with each pregnancy. Each time, it has been right, with 3 boys, and this time, it reads for a girl.I did the test before and after each ultrasound, and it was 100% correct!! If you don't believe, or have a problem with things being discussed in the forum, you should probably not visit here.

I believe it does work, I have 3 children and it has worked out on all of them. I also believe I am pregnant again and that it says that I will be having twins,

Silby - April 26th, 2005 6:39 PM

Can anyone tell me how to do this test please

A. Johnson - May 1st, 2005 2:32 AM

I have a friend who tested everyone in her workplace and it worked--even with miscarriages and on men, too. I am a skeptic but so far this thing works. I have tried it on myself 5 times and every time it was the same. I have a question, has anyone experienced a reading that got them twin BOYS? Because mine always stays on 'boy' forEVER, then circles to a girl and so forth. What of that??? Could it be twin boys and then so on?

Kristine - May 7th, 2005 11:08 PM

I have posted before, and have done the pencil test with each of my pregnancies (3boys). This time, the pencil swings side to side... girl, and then immediatly starts front to back, signaling a boy! There are no cicles, no pauses inbetween. What does this mean? How can you detect twins?

Luvabull223 - May 9th, 2005 5:12 PM

it's been around for a long time and is normally very accurate the one thing we can't remember is that if your pregnant when you do it ...it may be opposite. but if you do it on people who have already had kids and are done it's normally very accurate.

Ok, the pencil thing...no joke! I didnt believe it myself at first but then I tried it. It about knocked me out of my seat! I am having a boy, and the pencil went crazy up and down!

Kim - May 9th, 2005 11:16 PM

I did this test 3 times today and each time I got the same thing: 3 circles followed by 3 boys (up and down from hand to elbow). I am 15.5 weeks pregnanty with my first and wonder if one of the three boys signaled a m/c. I believe that I may have conceived a month prior to this pregnancy but that the pregnancy was lost prior to my period because it came early and was very heavy. The test made me wonder because I'd like to have 2 children and it kept signifying 3, with no twins. I am waiting until October to find out the sex of my baby but I believe in this test, even though it's just amazing how, if it's all true, it can predict future children.

Some people are so rude on this site. Calling others idiots? How rude. If we want to have fun w/this and believe let us enjoy!

yes

TO SKEPTIC - May 14th, 2005 7:49 PM

I AM a Christian and enjoy doing this "for fun". I do the wedding ring and thread test and it shows boy, girl, boy, girl. I already had the first three and am pregnant now. I know that God is in charge here and whatever he gives me is what I get, but this is all in fun!
