well excuse me for asking a simple question my friend got two tattoos while pregnant and i was wanting to do the same but wasn't sure if it were safe for the baby. no i can't take the time to read the posts because i barley have time to write my own so i hope that answers your question.

Not true at all! I have a full back tattoo and a smaller one on my belly and had a baby 3 months ago. My tats are fine. The common worry is that docs won't give an epi if your lumbar is covered with a tattoo. I spoke with an anaesthesiologist and this is just an urban legend, however, different doctors feel differently about this because there haven't really been many studies on it. My suggestion: speak with the doc before your due date about an epidural. If the doc wouldn't want to give this, another one surely would. :o)

enough about the tattoos right now i'm currently 17 weeks pregnant and i can't seem to get rid of my bladder infections and its causing me alot of pain, did any of u other moms experience this problem???

no hone i've already asked this question and everyone has givin me a smart butt answer and to put it in a nice way for u the answer is no i think its because the ink gets into ur system or something like that....

absolutely not!i have a kitty cats face on my lower back and i'm about to give birth to my third son.my cat stiil looks great..

if you get a tattoo on the thigh can it effect the baby
