Amen girl.... I am 35 weeks and 2 days and would gladly pull this kid out of myself if I could. I am really tiny and am on track for an 8 pound baby. Recently he has found my ribs and I truly believe he has cracked them. I just try and remind myself that there is only a short time left and each day that he can stay inside of me is a blessing and less money spent on hospital bills. Try taking warm showers and leaning over a birthing ball. I find that doing the pelvic tilts and spending time on my hands and knees actually feels good. Try short walks and don't forget to rest when you feel you need to. If you have access to a pool, try paddling around as the water helps support your weight and it feels WONDERFUL!! As for sleep, catch what you can when you can. I am sorry that I don't have any magic solutions for you. Good luck to you!! You are almost done! |

I'm 37 weeks now, and have been going through what you're going through, and more, for a month or more now. There's really nothing that has helped me except, laying down and resting, or taking a warm bath. I'm in so much pain, and so exhausted now that I feel like I'm going to pass out at any moment of the day. I haven't had a good sleep in months, and my hips and pubic area feel like they're just going to split in two. I've had such bad cramps that I can't drive anymore. My dr. told me that I've just got to be miserable, because the baby's just not ready yet. I didn't dialate, efface, or anything at my last appt. I've felt like it's the real thing three times in the past two weeks. All I can say is rest, try to soothe the pain in any way necessary, keep breathing, and pray! |
