what is labor balm and how does it work?

Labor Balm works best if you are having braxton hicks contractions, and you have started to efface/thin or dilate. It contains Black and Blue Cohosh, Calendula, Vitamin E and jasmine. I got that info off of the belly boutique website (spelling?) I ordered some and it is being delivered today. Let's see if it works.....

well tried it last night and nothing so far. Put some on this morning and just made the baby move all over the place but still no contractions or anything. I'll post again after the weekend to see if it worked. *crosses fingers*

Well.. got some really strong contractions, but nowhere near what they need to be or as frequent. It seems I'm stuck at 2 cm dilated forever...ugh....maybe soon....

least the contractions are helping you though =) You wont be 2 forever, I promise.

I used Labor Balm and had my son the nest day!!! It is greasy but well worth it. You need to be 2 cm dilated before using it.
