Hello All,
After reading almost all the post regarding the IUD I find myself a little left out because it sounds like most of you have had kids then gotten it. I do not have kids, but I am getting married in the fall so my DR. said I qualified for it since I only had one partner. I was a little nervous about it but she insisted that I would love it. So in December of 07' I decided to go with it. The whole procedure hurt so bad I thought I was going to faint. After it was all said and done I had the worse cramps of my life and spotted for about a month. The DR said that was normal and that my body needed at least three months to get use to it. Well it did and I was having my period like I would normally every month, until now. I have not gotten my period, my breast are killing me and my lower back feels like I got kicked bye a horse. I don't know if it's normal just to stop my period or not. I have a DR.'s apt. tomorrow, and I am scared to death on what she will say. Has anyone gotten the MIrena before having kids and had these problems? Thanks.
