Hyperprolactinaemia

For the longest time i had this gut feeling there was something wrong because ive been trying to get pregnant for 8 months with no results and my periods have been extreemly irregular, my OB did some blood work and found out that i have hyperprolactinaemia. hes convinced that its caused by just my horomones and isnt really looking into any other testing and it makes me a little nervous because im not sure whether to trust his judgement or not. Hes sort of playing Chicken with my fertility here and its a little frustrating. Has anyone else out there had the same problem?

Are you currently pregnant? I don't know much about hyper prolactinaemia but I do know a little about that kinda stuff as I have a pituitary tumor which can play havoc on hormones. We tried 3 years and recently conceived. If you're prego, they won't want to do any imaging of your brain til baby is born. If you're not prego, you should ask around for a good endocrinologist in your area to help with hormones, but I've had struggles in this area. Good luck to you.
