Pregnancy Info HOME

Hello. I went to my DR. last night because I have the Mirena IUD and I feel seriously pregnant. They have done some blood tests, but no word just yet. But they said they could remove my IUD while I was there. So I said yes, get this out of me. Well, the Dr. had to pull really hard, so hard in fact that the strings came off, but the IUD is still in there!!! Now I have to go see an OBGYN to get it out. My question is has this happened to anyone else, and how do they go about getting it out?
