[Original Post]

I just found out this week that I am expecting. We took 5 p/t. 1st pos. 2 &3rd neg. 4&5th post. Per my doctor, said to trust the postivies. I was pregnant. I got up this morning and after urinating I noticed 3 small clots in the toilet. There was no blood when I wiped. About an hour later I started bleeding like I was on my period. Throughout the day it has been more clots that have gotten heavier as the day has gone on. I feels like I am having a period except I usually have heavy cramping with my periods and I have very minimal if any cramping today. I went to the hosp. lab for blood work per my Dr. and will go again on Mon. I won't have an answer as to what is going on until Tues. Everyone I know is saying that this is normal and as long as I am not having bad cramps or stabbing pains that the baby is okay. I am going out of my mind. The Dr. says it is probably implantation bleeding, but everything I am reading on the internet says that only occurs 5-12 days after ovulation and I am past that point. My last cycle was 2/16 and our last try for a baby was the weekend of 3/2 to 3/4. So I know I am past 12 days ovulation. The only things I can think of are miscarriage or tubal. I am going out of my mind waiting. Has anyone else gone throught this???

Let us know what they tell you today at the doc. Good luck!

Hang in there. There is nothing you can do and only time will tell. I bled a little bit when I was 5 weeks pregnant ( 5 weeks after my last period). It was mostly brownish and few clots. It lasted about 5 days. Today I have 6month old helthy baby boy. Good luck and hang in there

hutnley, you'll really need to wait and see what your hcg levels are. i had a similar experience where i bled as heavy as a period almost 2 1/2 weeks after ovulation for 3 days. i had low hcg levels on top of that and was later diagnosed with an ectopic. i did not have pain, just very mild period like cramps. let us know what your hcg levels were, thats the most important thing. if they are high, then you are in good shape. if they are low i'd really have them look into ectopic, make sure they do ultrasounds until they find something. mine ended up being an ovarian ectopic, which is very rare an was not diagnosed until i had surgery for a rupture. hang in there, i know exactly what you are going through and its so hard. it took a month to get a definite answer as to what was going on with me. i wish you the best, keep me posted!

Bleeding like your on your period and passing alot of clots is a very good indication of a miscarriage, Im sorry your going threw this. It sounds like a chemical pregnancy, I had one myself and its a hard thing to experience.

Unfortunately we did have a miscarriage. The doctor confirmed it yesterday. My hcg level on Sat. was already down to 10, yesterday is was down to 3. I go back next week to make sure it is 0 and that everything is fine with my body. We are not going to give up. We will be trying in 6-8 wks, after my uterus heals. That was the advice from the doctor. He said any sooner and I would more than likely get pregnant, but it would more than likely miscarry again since the uterus would not be heald yet. Here's hoping I will have some good news to post in June!!!!
