Pease Help I Don't Understand The HCG

I'm about 6 weeks and i spotted this past weekend and had one clot they did blood test to find the HCG and the nursesaid it was 21 and went up to 31 it did not doubleand i had an u/s and they said they could not find the fetal pole. Has anyone else had this problem. I been pregnant before about nine years ago and had no problems like this one and delivered twins. Please if anyone knows anything can you please help me. Thankyou.

At 6 weeks it's not always unheard of for there not to be a fetal pole...especially if your dates could be off by a day or two. The hcg level is a little concerning...if you get a drawing on a monday, your levels should double by either tuesday or wednesday. Good luck!
