I am pregnant. I took three at home tests and went to the doctor yesterday and all 4 have come back positive. However, I am extremely early and experiencing bleeding. This would be my first pregnancy so I have no idea what the blood should look like. Here is a quick rundown, I took my first test Friday it came back positive. Then I took another one, still positive. Then Saturday night, I started bleeding some, it was red. Not heavy but enough that I was worried. Sunday morning when I woke up, there was more blood on my liner but it seemed to slow thereafter, coloring was still red. The blood is nothing like my normal period, it is not close because all I am wearning is a liner.
Monday morning, again I wake up to blood on the liner. This is when I am finally able to get to the doctor. They gave me an ultrasound because they were worried about the blood as well. However, they explained going into the ultrasound that the odds of seeing anything are slim because of how early I think I am. I had just started back on birthcontrol in May after being off of it for 6 months. So I counted back 4 weeks which meant my last period was around May 26th.
There was indeed nothing showing on the ultrasound, after I meant with the doctor. He explained that although I seem to be chemically pregnant, the ultrasound is showing nothing so he says "it is likely this pregnancy will be unsuccessful." I was ready to break down and cry at this point so it was hard to ask questions. I just know that I have heard of cases where women bleed early due to implantation bleeding. Today, Tuesday, I woke up to NO BLOOD! When I wipe there are spots, but they are now light pink. So hopefully the blood stops here which means that I bled for an avg of 2 1/2 days.
I was not planning on a pregnancy but now the thought of losing it is killing me. I just need some one to give me some good news. I have another appointment for July 8th.
