Pregnancy & Meth Addiction

My daughter is a meth addict. She has been clean since April 22nd. However she got pregnant on April 25th. She is now about 3 months pregnant and I just found out about it. Will the stupid meth hurt the baby since she stopped it 3 days before conception? She hasn't been to a doctor yet, I am arranging that now. I am just so distraught over this.

If she is past the 12 week point then she should be okay as long as she stays sober. My doctor said it was an all or nothing when it comes to drugs and meds in the first trimester. If it is going to cause problems then most likely it would cause a miscarriage. Also, she stopped before she got pregnant so that means baby will not be addicted as well as long as she has stopped. Her doctor needs to know about it though so he can watch and check for things more closely.
