A good friend of mine has been attempting to have a prenatal paternity test done but has run into nothing but roadblocks. At first I was very wary for her to even go through with CVS or Amnio testing because of the danger it could pose to both her baby and herself but she was adamant about having the correct father of the baby by her side for delivery.
When she was finally able to go through with the testing, she was informed that the sample taken had been contaminated. She is devastated but unwilling to go through the whole procedure again, understandably.
If anyone has any advice or information for someone in this situation, it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Is she unable to determine who the father is based on the timing of sex? Unless she had sex with 2 different men within a week, it should be fairly easy to determine the father.

When I was pregnant, my boyfriend at the time demanded a paternity test and said it had to be done while I was pregnant. I was a first-time mom and very naive and didnt realize I had a choice in the matter. When it came down to it, I refused to have any needles put anywhere near my stomach or my baby and I ended up finding a Lab which had a relatively new technique for these tests where they only needed a blood sample from me and swabs from the "alleged" fathers. It was called a "non-invasive" procedure and was way easier and cheaper than I had expected....although cost didnt matter and he ended up paying because he was the daddy (which i obviously already knew....jerk)
Maybe your friend should try non-invasive, good luck!

Do you remember the name of the company so I can look it up?
