Small Fetus

I went for my first Ultra Sound and should have been about 8 weeks along. The baby measured at 6 weeks 5 days and the Sack measured 5 weeks. The baby did have a heart beat at that time. Has anybody else had this happen and the baby be ok. I know my dates and know that there is no way the baby should be that far off. I go for another Ultra Sound in one week to see if the baby still has a heartbeat.
