Spotting

I have now had spotting 3 times during my pregnancy. I had an ultrasound to rule out any problems after the first time at 6 weeks. I am now 8 weeks along and have spotted on two more occasions. All three times that I have had the spotting it has been directly after having a bowel movement. I have been severly constipated throughout my pregnancy so far and have tried everything natural to relieve it and nothing works. I noticed that when I am pushing to go that is when I have the spotting.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
