Sudden Changes

My wife is on the 11th week now. So far we were able to feel her belly grow firmer each week. The tests and visits were fine thus far and we were able to hear the heart beat. However, yesterday we both noticed that the belly feels as if it got smaller. We cannot feel the usual firmness. There is nothing wrong otherwise. However, we are both new to this and suddenly she says it feels as if there was nothing in there anymore.

I would suggest that she make an appointment with her doctor. When I was pregnant I lost weight all throught my 1st trimester. Maybe she is just losing a little weight.

I would not worry. Her tummy will change all the time. Digestion is very different during pregnancy which can cause constipation etc. At 11 weeks the baby is so small and will not cause her tummy to tighten.
