Yeast Infection And Baby Doppler?!

first question my doctor said to take monisted (sp) 7 ( for my yesat infection) but when I looked it up on the internet it said that ppl don't know what the effects of it on an unborn child? Has anyone used this while PG before??!! What do yall think? Second question I have a baby dopple and I used to use it once a week, but after a bleeding scare i use it about one every other day... do you think that this is safe?!

Monistat is in pregnancy category C. This means that "there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans and the benefits from the use of the drug in pregnant women may be acceptable despite its potential risks." Not treating a yeast infection immediately and effectively could actually lead to brain damage of the baby if the infection were to spread. You are fine. As long as you are not on category C medications for an extended period of time the baby won't be harmed...and even if you were, there's no definitive studies saying anyting would happen. As far as the doppler, all the studies done have shown that there is no risk to the fetus from repeated doppler use. Good luck!
