Hi All,
Today i went for my 20 wk u/s. Baby is too active and everything is normal so i am quite happy.only one thing made me to worry about. Doctor told me that my placenta is low. so i have to get one more u/s at 28th week. if it won't go up it may turn up in c-section. I am doing very good from the beginning of my pregnancy so i am very much interested in normal (vaginal) delivery. Did anybody has similar issue? did anyone has experience of moving placenta up in later stage? Did they find placenta travels up in later stage? do i need to take any special care / precaution? Pl. note doctor didn't restrict for me except carrying more weight. Can any particular exercise (doing / not doing) help? Pl. advice.

Hi! There was another chain of questions and answers on this topic earlier this month that you can check. Some people had good experiences, some not so good. I was diagnosed with low placenta in the 21 wk u/s and it hadn't moved in the 28th week. But I am doing fine without any activity restrictions. I am in my 30th week now and should be checking the placenta again in week 32 and 36. Good luck!

Thanks Raldim. Yes i had gone thru that thread also. Earlier i thought to add my query in same thread but not sure whether it will be acceptable or not!. I do light yoga and exercise and am working full time so actually not taking much rest. I also have habit of fast walking. I just wanted to make sure that i don't need any special precautions. Thanks for your input. And wish you all the best for having safe and healthy delivery.

Well, I am not an expert but believe that we would have been warned in case there were a possibility of complications. I also continue to work full time (which includes teaching sessions where I stand on my feet for 2 hours in a row), walk and do some light stretching exercises... Fortunately: no complications so far and no warnings from doctors/ midwives that I have to have any restrictions! Thanks for the good wishes; hope all goes well for you, too.
