I don't know, but I would think not. I don't think that would be safe seeing as it releases hormones into your body. Just like you wouldn't keep taking the b/c pill (patch or ring) you wouldn't want to keep that in. But I'm really not sure. You should ask your doctor

My cousin is a nurse and what she told me was that the mirena will make you have a miscarriage if left in.
