Pregnancy Info HOME

Based on my last menstrual period, I should be 9wks. However, based on two sonograms I'm still at 5wks. I had my second sono today and was distraught to learn that although there is a sac and yoke sac present there is still no fetal pole. I was devastated not only did I experience the vanishing twin syndrome but now there may be problems with the present sac. The doctor was very optimistic...he said there was a lot of change since the first sonogram performed two weeks ago....according to him the second sono showed progress. I've read so many different stories...one particular woman showed no fetal pole nor heart beat till 13 wks. I'm so crazed right now....there are no signs of a miscarriage...how can I possible consider terminating. How long should I give this.
