I have a 2 1/2 year old child and when I was pregnant i suffered from urinary tract infections when landed me in hospital several times. I have the implanon rod in my arm to stop me getting pregnant since I had her. Since sept 2008 have had chronic pain for which had to have laparscopic end of March 2009, they found that I had endometrisos and had to remove it. I have to go back in few weeks for check up and discuss my chances of having another baby. I have already been told before all this that I will have problems again with urinary tract infections again if became pregnant. Does anybody know how long the endometrisos will stay away and has anybody had it while pregnant? Time is going against me as im nearly 34

Not sure how relevant my story is to yours, but it may help. It took Dh and I 1.5 years to become preg with DD1. After having endometriosis removed via laprascopic surgery, we conceived on the first try (I was 26). My doc told me that it may come back and to have my kids quickly if I wanted more. He said that each time you have a period, the cells get deposited into your uterus and begin to grow. Its these cells that apparenly give off a chemical which kills sperm. Anyway... long story short... I am now 36 and preg with #4. I have never had any other issues since my surgery. I have also noticed that when I do have AF, it is much less painful and lighter than it used to be. Hope this helps! Good luck :)
