Why Do I Spot Every Other Day?

i spot blood that is brownish red and it isnt a lot but im worried that something might be wrong.i have been doing this for about 2months and before that i didnt and its back could there be concern or it is something that happens?its never heavy it just that i worry since this is my first can someone tell me why this happens or have it happen to you?
