hello I am new to this site... I have been using the IUD since mid January.. Since then my last regular period was in Feb. after that I have not had a period. I have just been spoting every so often. I do get cramping and I have been feelilng dizzy, I have also noticed like my breast are growing. I dont know if that is normal or is anyone has had the same problem.Please help.Thanks

I had few problems with Mirena. I had cramping frequently and I put on 5 lbs in about 4-5 wks from insertion. I dont know if the weight gain was from Mirena but I dont gain that fast normally. The doctor said weight gain was not due to that but I was going crazy. I didnt want to regain any weight becoz of this. I removed the Mirena a month ago and I have lost the 5 pounds that I gained. So Mirena may be great for some and not so great for some. :))

I got uterine infections from the Mirena and it also caused weight gain for me.
