I choose to not breastfeed. I did it with my first and had lots of trouble. My milk came in yesterday and I have been wearing a tight bra and putting ice packs on, but I am in a lot of pain anyway. Do you ladies have any tricks to dry up faster?? I can't take it much more!!

Boil the herb sage in water and drink about 1 cup every 4 hours. I wouldn't use the cabbage in the bra trick. It's pretty stinky! Also, take aspirin/ibuprofphen. Wear a tight bra and do not take it off even for bathing (do not take showers).

I actually did it gradually. I would breastfeed or manually pump decreasing the amount every few days. It didn't take me too long....... I'd say 2 weeks. And it wasn't painful to do it that way.
