I hear you!! I'm almost 2 months pp and have completely hit a plateau. I gained 40 lbs (yikes!) while pregnant and lost all of it the first week only to have it start creeping back on. I feel miserable and have been trying to eat right and exercise, but it just won't budge. I'm breastfeeding too, so I'm worried that I'll do something to compromise my supply...Name and I need help ladies! :o) Hi, my name is Kiersten and I have EA! LOL

Name, are you breastfeeding? Is it belly weight that you haven't lost or is it your overall body weight?

well, my body will never be the same thats for sure. i can't imagine what a few more kids will do to me. i just hope that over time my dh will still be attracted to me. chances are he will still be very handsome in his later years. sometimes i look at certain areas of my body that have changed and i just get down about it. hang in there ladies ! its hard i know. if there is one lesson i've learned is - it's not all about me anymore! forget about wearing skimpy clothes or even lingerie for that matter. i feel so blah!!

Hello ladies! I had my third child five months ago and I just wanted to post and tell you to give yourselves a break! You created life and that is challenging to a body. It takes nine months to complete the process and it will take some time to get your body back. Name - if you're not breastfeeding then you can start to watch what you eat and exercise, if you've got time. After my first I was really depressed with what I had left of my body. I gained 50 lbs. and was determined to lose it. I exercised and watched what I ate and it took me 9 months but I lost it all. With my second and my third I didn't gain as much (thank god!) but I still had about 15-20 lbs. to lose after the birth. Again, with diet and exercise I was able to do it, but it did take some time. Take good care of yourself, get enough sleep, have a positive mindset and don't give up, you'll look better than ever soon!

I know how you feel. My dd is almost 6mos. now and I have been exercising and dieting since 3 mos. pp when I stopped B'feeding. I've lost only 6lbs....I'm soo mad. I wentto my dr. and he told me that the relaxin hormone is still in the body 3-6mos pp, which makes your muscles and joints more flexible, and this may be contributing to my not being able to lose weight. He says to give it a good year after pp to diet and exercise and if not come back to him for help.

god will my hips shrink back or am i doomed? before gettin preggo with dd i weighed 119, got up to 156, after i had her i got down to 115 within 4 months. i started out this last pregnancy with a lil (or a lot) of weight on me, 146, got up to 178, and after 3 months i'm still 169!! i hardly eat anything. and i'm hypoglocemic and i eat horribly (not like i should on a hypoglocemic diet) so workin out is out of the question, b/c i'll probably pass out immediately.
