Hello all!
I am about 2 weeks PP. We tried for a "little' over 1 year to conceive, and were successful after two rounds of clomid, one round of injectables and our 2nd IUI. (12th cycle)I was diagnosed as having PCOS by an RE, however I had cycles that were between 32 and 39 days apart, and I never skipped. My ovaries showed multiple follicles, however my OB was not convinced that I had PCO. All blood tests came back within normal range also. My question is that it took us some time to have first baby, what are the chances of it taking the same for baby 2? Also, does it really sound like PCO? I am having Major anxiety, and I know that it is too soon to try, but I want to be ready. Has anyone ever had difficulty conceiving first baby, but had an easier time with subsequent children?

I don't know about PCOS but we took 15 months to conceive our first and 2 months to conceive our second. We were very surprised and we are older. They say "your body knows what to do". Hope this helps.

From what I've heard, it doesn't take as many cycles of Clomid to coneive again. Make sure your body is healthy and recovered from childbirth. Make sure to be a healthy weight and have blood test to ensure everything is at level.
