I'm freaking out because I keep feeling what my friend calls "ghost kicks" and I had my little girl about 6 months ago! Do they last that long? I have been so tired this past week, but I've taken numerous (sp?) tests and they all come up negative? Is it possible to be pregnant again and not show on the test because I'm still breastfeeding my daughter?

Hi Calan... I'm not sure how long is "normal" but I'm nearly 3 months pp and still will every now and then get those. If you've taken several tests and they're all negative, I would at least call your doc to let them know what's up and see what they say. I would think if you were pregnant, it would still show on the tests even though you're bfing...? How long have you been feeling really tired? Are the "ghost kicks" frequent? Don't really know what to say other than I can sympathize. I'm scared that I'll get pregnant right away and not know! GL...

That's so odd because my lol is about 6 mos. now and just in the last week or so I started feeling ghost kicks too. I know I'm not prego though considering I was on my period at the time. I'm trying to pretend these are gas bubbles so I don't get freaked out too much. lol. They just might be gas anyway!

Yes! I am terrified that I'm going to get pregnant. I've been feeling the kicks for about a month now and like when you have a baby inside whenever you sit down or be still is when they start. I will call my doc and see what she says. I took another test today but still neg., I'm going to try again in the morning. The tiredness start about two weeks ago. So I mean I dont think that I would be feeling kicks already.......I may just be totally freaking out.:o)

Yes i got those too and took a test just to make sure even though i knew there could be no possible way i could have been that far along. I think it's just gas bubbles that we probably felt before we were pregnant and didn't pay much attention to, but now that we had our babies we think they feel like little kicks.

Yeah thats proably what they are. It just feels nice to know there are others out there worrying about the same thing! :o)

Yes, i too am not quite ready for another one (my dd is almost 7 months) but i do miss her kicks and a little part of me was hopeful. I thought there may have been a chance b/c i had not yet had my period as i am breastfeeding and i had taken a few mini pills late but i knew it was pretty unlikely.

Yeah I know what you mean. I love having the pregnant kicks and being pregnant.....but I already have a two year old and my daughter so a third right now would be crazy. :o)

This is so funny (funny-weird). My son was about 5 months or so when I had a week when I felt the same way. It felt just like when he was inside me rolling around. I took a couple pregnancy tests, definitely wasn't pregnant. I thought I was losing my mind. Even went so far as to look up on the 'net if it was some sort of weird parasite thing. But went away after a week. Must be our old hormones playing tricks on our minds again.
