Hello, all.
After 14 years with my girl we decided to have a child and get married. She got pregnant this year, and we got married on her 5th month of preg.

A few days before marriage she couldnt sleep at all and this lasted till 2 days after we got married.

Then a morning she wakes me up claiming to have pains in her belly, so we run to the maternity. While we where there she started changing behaviour and she started been unclear in her thoughts. After a few hours to the maternity while the baby was fine, my wife started not recognizing me either her mother.

The gygy examind her and suggested a psy.
The psy prescbribed her some plant treatment. But a few days later thats it she was out of this planet listening to voices seeing ghosts and crying all the time so we had to close her to a mental hospital for a week. There she got cured, and now she is on medication. Any one got the same experience and if so what shall I expect after the baby is born, supposed to be even worse for a woman?

i'm so sorry! i wish i could help but i've never heard of anything like this before. if she's had a mental issue during pregnancy, you SHOULD watch her carefully after pregnancy and watch your baby too. really, though, the doctors who treated her/treat her should give you signs to look for a problem. if they havent flat out, then you might find a different doctor. if you dont want to change your doctor, i strongly suggest you ask him/her if there are any warning signs to look for after she's had the baby. your wife and child could be at risk. good luck to you. and certainly dont rule out prayer. k?

yike - You can indeed take medicatoin while pregnant. While there are some that you should not take, there are some medications you can take. If medication is neceessary then Drs will try to perscribe the ones without risk to the baby or with the least amount of risk possible. Sometimes issues arise in which the benefits for the mother outweigh the risk to the unborn baby. Sometimes it is medically necessary to take medication during pregnancy. Some women even end up having to have surgery and out under with anesthesia during pregnancy. Issues do arise where things such as this must happen, even though pregnant.
