"very Soft" Uterus 6 Weeks Postpartum

Hello.

I went to my dr today for my 6 week postpartum appointment and during my exam my doctor said, "Have you and your husband been having any unprotected sex?" I immediately replied, "no" and she told me that my uterus was very soft as if pregnant. I have NOT had sex since delivery. She wants me to have a pelvic ultrasound. She mentioned fibroids. Anyone else experience something similar?
