Bleeding

I had my ds ten days ago, was just wondering how long I could expect to bleed for. my midwife gave us the OK for sex as soon as I stop bleeding, and dh is chomping at the bit....lol. whats the norm?

I bled for about 4 weeks, stopped for a week, then bled again for another week because I was starting to do too much. It's different for everyone though, good friend bled for over 7 weeks. If you rest and take it easy that can help slow it down. Sorry I'm sure that's not what your dh wants to hear! lol Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones and stop early. Good luck.

i was lucky I bled for one week after my birth. and then had my period 4 weeks later. and i have been back like clockwork. so i dont know what to tell you hun. I was told 6 weeks by my doctor. but that just didnt happen for me.
