im using mustella and its wonderful so far im 33 weeks pregnant and no stretch marks.. its a bit expensive though

I am so sorry to tell you ladies, but no cream is going to prevent stretch marks. It is a common myth that is furthered by women who use creams and never get stretch marks. The sad truth, however, is that stretch marks are caused by genetics, so if your momma had them, so will you. Also, I was 36 weeks before I got 'em, and then they spread like wildfire. The creams do help relieve the itching of a swelling belly and breasts, but no amount of cocoa butter, or lanolin, or whatever is gonna stop 'em if you're gonna get 'em.

I am sorry to say that "flower.momma" is right! I tried everything under the sun when I was pg, and they still appeared one day...then never completely left:-( They will however get "lighter" over the years, but they stay. Now that Im pg with my second, I am praying they just dont get bigger. Creams are only going to soften your skin so the itching is not so bad. Good luck!

I too agree with flower momma and lexa there is no magic cream that will prevent stretch marks I have had 3 boys my 3rd born 1/11/06 and thank God no stretch marks for me I got very little with my first and they are so light now you can not even see em' but if your gonna get them your get them good luck to ya though!!
