Conception Date Confusion

I had unprotected sex with an ex on July 31, but he did not cum inside me. Then I got my period on August 20th pretty much like normal.

Then me and my boyfriend had un protected sex after my period starting like the 27th of august. So then I missed my period so I thought, I was about 20 weeks from my LMP. But then I had an ultrasound and they said that the baby looked more like it was 21 weeks and 3 days.

So I started to freak out. Thinking maybe I conceived the month before. But I got my period.....so I might just be freaking out. But that would put me at more like 24 weeks.

Please can someone ease my mind.

It could really go either way. Some people have bleeding during early pregnancy or it could have been your period. Ultrasounds can sometimes measure a little off so there really is no way to be 100% sure.
