I am 36 1/2 weeks and have not even dialated. I am diabetic and on insulin. I want to have this baby by 39 weeks. My family lives out of state and my mother can only be here for two weeks till 4 days after my due date, because she has a Tumor in her brain and has to have surgery. My fear is they will not induce me and I will not dialate till 40 weeks and the baby will be too BIG (due from diabetes) for me to deliver and my mother won't get to see her first grandchild. Any suggestions on what to say to doctor to induce me and do you think they will (at 39 weeks)??
