Hi, I'm new!! I have been reading these forums for a little while, my cousin got me hooked on them. I am 19 and my FH is 24. We are getting married in Sept. and we have been together for 2 years. We have recently decided we are ready to TTC. I am really excited. I came off the pill almost 2 months ago now. I am hoping everything will go ok, and we will be pregnant within the next year.

You have youth on your side! My DH and I started TTC in April/May. I had been on the pill for 10 years (since my son was born). We got a BFP the first month trying, which still shocks me. One of my friends said the trick is to drink a glass of red wine and relax before you "try" and not to think about it too much. Well I managed to drink the red wine but did not succeed in not thinking about it too much. That's all I thought about. I was also taking prenatal vitamins and trying to eat well. Oh, I just realized you may be too young to drink. Well, I say relax and think positive thoughts!

Go to fertilityfriend.c o m and register, there you can chart your temps and keep track of everything. I also recommend getting Ovulation Predictor Strips (testsforless. c o m has them cheap). Start taking prenatal vitamins. I took 81mg asprin (to help thicken the uterine lining) and mucinex (to help make the cervical mucous sperm friendly). Good luck to you!
