Ovulation...Did We Catch The Eggie??

Hey Ladies! DH and I aren't actively trying but not preventing (I am secretly hoping we do tho!!).
So I started my last AF on 8/16/08 lasted 3 days. Last cycle was about 32 days long. I have been off BC since March and have had pretty regular cycles however I was not keeping track of when they would occur or the length. So I expected to ovulated like 3 days from now (based on what the predictor said) but then on 8/26 I had O symptoms. We BD on 8/24. On 8/26 I had lots of EWCM about the size of a quarter in my panties. I had EWCM on 8/27 8/28 and a little bit on 8/29. We BD on 8/30 as well. Yesterday 8/31 I have had zero EWCM. We BF pm 8/31 I am not exactly sure how the ovulation thing works but was wondering if we had sex at the right times to get pregnant this cycle.

if you are getting that sticky elasticy type discharge and are trying to get pregnant its best to try and do at least once a day. even if you are wrong and you don't ovulate for 2 or 3 days after, there have been studies that show sperm can live for up to (max) 5 days. one study even showed 7 days. they say if you touch the mucus and it streched between your thumb and your finger as far as you can pull your fingers apart without the mucuse breaking thats the prime time!
