Heart Beat At 5th Week

actually I got pregent after two years of my marriage and long history of irregular periods. I went to the U/S last week they told me that it was 5th week and heart beat is expected next week Iam very worried if everything is alright and scared aswell. Can some one please tell me if Iam going in the right path.

Hi fatima, im also in my 5th week and i am going for a scan around 6 wks to check everything is ok. I may not see the heartbeat at that stage tho as sometime its impossible to detect until the babies a bit bigger - it just depends on the woman and how clear the scan is i guess. Either way, we will allways be worried everything is ok. This is my 2nd time after i lost my first one at 12 wks in Oct07. So im very anxious too. Why dont you join us down on the 1st Trimester board, theres an Oct babies thread already started! And congratulations!! x x
