Your due date is an estimate based on a 40 week gestation, and EDC's are basically you count 3 months backward and add 7 days - or Dec 30. You could have shorter gestations than the norm, or you could have gone into labor spurred on by a host of factors - stress, baby's size, illness, water breaking, etc. If your periods are 28 days long, and your lmp was definitely on march 24, you probably conceived around April 7th - and just delivered a little early.
