Anyone Told To Wait On Ttc Due To Blood Count Being Low ?

I had posted another ques that asked if anyone else had to have a second d&C due to placental tissue being left behind from the first D&C. As a result I lost a lot of blood and now my cbc is 8.2 (should be around 12 or 13). The blood loss made me anemic and dR. said I should wait to ttc for 3 months at least so that my body can make back the blood it lost and so that it has enough blood supply to carry another pregnancy. We already have our beautiful son who is 16mths old and were really looking forward to having another one close in age. Now we have to wait again. Anyone else in this situation?
