BLEEDING POST D&C

I had a D&C last wed 1/26. The procedure went well. Some light spotting for a couple days post. No cramping.Then last night and this am the bleeding was heavier. like a light flow. I went to see my doctor this afternoon and another ultra sound was done to find out a small part of the placenta was left. Now she wants to repeat the d&c. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Is there anyway my body could pass this naturally without repeating the d&c? I feel fine, no fever or cramping. Just hoped I could move on.

Now you're making me wonder b/c I had almost the same thing. Light spotting after the D&E, then one night heavier- not too heavy though. I would ask the dr. about passing naturally, if that's what you want. It shouldn't be too difficult on your body if it's only part of the placenta.
