I had a blighted ovum at 12 weeks on 1st March after trying for a baby for 4 months. Tried again straight after and fell pregnant 3 months later. Just out of hospital on Wednesday after having an ectopic (at 8 weeks) resulting in it rupturing and losing my right tube through keyhole surgery.
Now more desperate for a baby than ever and they are telling me my chances of conceiving have dropped to 50%.
How long will it take me to conceive again and will my periods go back in to their original cycle? People keep telling me I am just unlucky and it wasn't meant to be but I am finding it really hard to cope with this time and just want to be pregnant and passed the first 12 weeks!
Please let me know how quickly you became pregnant again after ectopic

I don't really have an answer for you. I don't know much about this topic as I am new to this pregnancy thing. But, I just want to say that you shouldn't give up. I think your body may need time to become normal again. Just keep healthy, and keep positive. I know it's easy for people to say but I am going through a similiar thing. I believe I just had a very early miscarriage. So I have to do the same. Eat healthy, get rest, take vitamins and then hopefully in a few months it will be your time. I have heard some crazy success stories...KEEP STRONG!

After almost 2 years ttc, I had a m/c in Nov 08, followed two months later by an ectopic which ruptured. I also lost the right tube (or at least it won't ever function again). I know it's a really difficult and traumatic thing to go through. You will be in the doldrums for a while, there's nothing anyone can say or do to make it better but once you feel well enough, and once the doctor gives you the all clear, you should start trying again and I'm sure you will be pregnant soon. Two pregnancies in such a short time means you're pretty fertile. Don't get bogged down in statistics...honestly, in real life, they mean absolutely nothing.
I started trying again after 3 months, as per doctors advice (it wasn't keyhole surgery so my recovery was longer), and I've just gotten pregnant again, despite 3 fertility specialists telling me our only chance was IVF. I took Clomid 100mg and it worked on the 3rd go.
good luck!
