Hi Everyone. Yesterday I founf out I lost my baby. I got positive preg. test a few weeks ago. On Wednesday I went to doctor and by LMP I was 7wk6d. The baby measured 5wk6d. The size was ideal for my dates & my late ovulation(long cycler here!). I went to doc on Wed. b/c I was spotting brown. Not much but scanty. No cramps and my symptoms very strong. They saw fetal pole but no heartbeat, however they were pleased with the size and said come back in two weeks. Then my HCG levels came in. On 6/13 it was 2311.8 (low for a 5wk 1d measurment maybe but still in range). On 6/18(day of spotting) it was 2200something. Went down. OUtlook not good? Yesterday I went to the OB I had scheduled for my first Appt. She didn't like the stats I gave her, but was optimistic. She took blood, examined me. Said the spotting wasn't much her concern, as was the level stats. So then she told her tech to give me sonogram. ONLY SACK. No more yolk or fetal pole and the sack was changing shape and small. =( I am sad.. one day see my dot on screen, feel my body nourishing a baby even if so tiny.. next two day.. nothing.. GONE. I was told the preg prob wasn't viable from the get based on levels but even so, she advised how it was great I got pregnant on my second try and it wasn't meant this one.. my body sees that and it let it go before major development. I know =( ... My question is 1)then why did a embryo even devleop? If it did then doesn't that mean things are going good? 2)alhto she explained it some, I was in a zone so I want to ask you guys.. in two days.. is it just expelled from the sack? absorbed? came out with spotting? and 3)I am schedule to get D&C Wed night but I may push it to Friday b/c the wkend I rest. She said the ges sac may come out but she wants to clean me out and so I can start fresh and I am fine with this but scared of the process a lil. Also, would it start to come out on its own? Thank you ladies for reading and thank you ladies for your answers to my 3 concerns. (p.s: I am RH negative I think they may give me a shot and also- I believe she said she will be sending somethings to the lab so 4)what can they discover?)
