Good Hcg But Bleeding?

I am so worried. I am 5.5 weeks pregnant and have had brown spotting since 4 weeks. When I developed pain on my left side, I went to the hospital (4 wks 6 d). The scan showed a sac measuring 5.5 weeks, but no yolk sac or fetal pole. This morning the spotting went from brown to red -- very light.

None of this sounds good, EXCEPT for the fact that my hcg levels have doubled (from 4967 to 10657 in 48 hours). So I don't know what to think. Can your levels double and you still have a blighted ovum?

Hi ,I had bleeding for 9 weeks sometime red sometime brown but the cervix was closed ,they got an heartbeat aroun 7 /8 week .
try not too worry I know it's hard I was scared too .
