HCG Levels After Miscarriage

Hi all,

Do you know whether HCG levels have to go to 0 before you can ovulate again after a miscarriage? I miscarried on 2/14 and I got my HCG levels tested yesterday (2/23) and they were at 5. The Dr. wants me to come in again next week to make sure they go down to 0, but I'm trying to figure out how this will affect ovulation.

Do levels have to be down to zero before you can ovulate again?

good question my dr. didn't make me do any of that testing, but I know at almost 4 weeks after that I am getting neg.on hpt, so I must not have very much/if any in me.
