I had a very early miscarriage (probably less than one month) but i've been bleeding for 4 weeks which I'm told is normal by my doctor. I had a sonogram, just to check, and there is no tissue present. It seems like from everything I read, that most people only bleed for a few days. Any thoughts or experience with bleeding for this long? Also, does it count as miscarrying the whole time I'm bleeding, or is the miscarriage complete and some of this is residual?

I had two early m/c both naturally, and the bleeding last for about 5 - 6 days. Heavier bleeding with bad cramping on one day, then like normal period. your u/s looks good so don't worry, however call another doctor for a second opinion.

Thanks for the response. I have to take another Beta test this week so I figure I'll give it 'til then.
