OK, so, my aunt is 40 years old and just went throught he process of In Vitro Fertilization and failed. I feel absolutley horrible for her because she is an amazing person who has always just wanted a baby more than anything...I want to make this short but I have such a long story...she cannot concieve naturally due to an unprofessional and illegal abortion that was forcefully performed on her when she was 13 by a man that had raped her and got her pregnant. It is absolutely heartbreaking that she cannot conceive because of that, there is way too much scar tissue in her tubes that nothing can get past...

Anyway...she is, of course, devistated that the IVF failed (only a 30% success rate but that still did not prepare her for an useccusful procedure) She has 10 embryos frozen and I believe the Fertillity clinic she goes too puts in 3 embryos at a time...Well I am 22 years old and I have a 10 month old daughter and I was wondering if anyone out there can give me any info on the success rate of surrogacy? I would like to offer to be a surrogate for my aunt and uncle. But, I dont know the procedure...Would it have a higher success rate? And, because I already have a baby, would the success rate be even higher? Any info would be GREATLY appreciated.

Also, when do you think she would be ready to recieve an offer like that? She just found out 2 days ago that she is not pregnant and she is very upset anout it. Her and I are very close!

Sorry this is so all over the place I was trying to write a short post lol thanks again for any feedback

I would assume that your chances would be higher b/c you obviously have no problem concieving. And I would pray about timing.
