thanks so much jessica! I hope it happens for you this cycle!! :)

cloud9climber - June 12th, 2008 1:33 AM

jessica - RE decided not to give me the loveno (at least not yet) but he put me on 10mg of prednisone 2x's day and estrogen patches which was a surprise. I go in for my second betas on friday. I'll update then.

Congratulations cloudclimber!!! That is wonderful news about your pregnancy :) PBA, this is so good that someone finally tested you...did your OB run these same tests? I'd say it probably wasn't tested for before, although antiphospholipids are usually one of the first things tested for. That said, usually a daily baby aspirin is prescribed for this...did you ever do that before? If not, I'd start taking one dailly right away (before conceiving). Let the RE know, but I'd imagine they would suggest the same thing. I'm crossing my fingers for you that your wait is over soon!

CONGRATULATIONS CLOUD9!!!!! THAT IS AWESOME NEWS!

pba74 - June 12th, 2008 7:56 AM

Congrats Cloud9! That is fantastic news!! ------ Thanks STEFKAY - my OB was the one who ran the tests and told me everything was fine. It wasn't until I got to see the medical records that I discovered it. Today is my HSG and I'm a nervous wreck - I know this is a good step but I'm just so nervous/excited. I told my SIL last night I dont' htink I have any blockages and will be VERY shocked if they say something is wrong.

Cloud9 did you get your betas back? I'm on CD14 should be Oing today...

cloud9climber - June 14th, 2008 1:00 AM

Hey Jessica! My beta's are great! at 11dpo my HCG was 22.8, progesterone was 37.6 and estrogen was 74 at 14dpo (today) it was HCG 113, Progesterone 54.6 and estrogen 96. Doc is happy and wants me to come for one more draw next Friday (24dpo). We're elated! Thanks so much for asking :) I appreciate your support! Doc put me on 20mg of prednisone a day for my ANA but surprisingly did not give me any lovenox. He wants me to continue the baby aspirin and he also gave me estrogen patches. I have to put on a new patch every other day. I think it's to help build up the lining in my uterus. I'm cautiously optimistic but I'm feeling really great about this pregnancy so far. Good luck the next few days! I hope sperm meets egg!! Good luck sweetie. Let me know how it goes. Hope you other girls are doing well too! :)

Hi Cloud9! Looks like I'm right behind you because I just got my BFP!! I will be calling my doc this morning to get my Lovenox started. Are you just on the Prednisone still? From what I hear they sometimes don't start the Lovenox until about 8wks. How are you feeling, any symptoms? Hope to talk to you soon!

stefkay - June 23rd, 2008 9:21 AM

Jessica, CONGRATULATIONS!!! Yay! I love reading of new bfps especially after loss. Keep me posted and I'm praying for your little beans :)

cloud9climber - June 23rd, 2008 1:38 PM

Jessica!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS! That is so wonderful!! How exciting! Keep us updated on everything. Thanks for your well wishes Stefkay - it really does mean a lot to me :) To update... my 3rd betas came back great on friday HCG went from 22.8 to 113 and after one week was over 1700 with a doubling time of 44 hours. My progesterone slipped from 56 to 17.9 RE wasn't concerned but I couldn't sleep that night obsessing about it so I asked RE for some progesterone and he prescribe 200mg 3x day vaginally. So far so good. So since my BFP I've been on Estrogen patches (a new one every other day), the progesterone and 20mg of prednisone (for the ANA). I'm still taking all my prenatal vitamin of course, the folgard, extra folic acid, fish oil and a baby aspirin. Feel pretty good - a little tired and hungry but I guess that's to be expected :) I'm drinking tons of water and still remaining active but not going crazy. No sit ups or crunches and no running. I've been walking about 4 miles a day and yesterday climbed 2 really easy routes that I know very well. I'm still worried that it won't work out but trying to remain positive. We are so happy to be expecting! Our first u/s is on July 3rd. Please think of us on that day and pray that we see our first little heart beat. Again, I'm so happy for you and your Husband! Stefkay - you're next!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

BELLE, htf, pba, trevors mommy, duckie, beebee, cubbie, etc. How are you all doing??

stefkay - June 23rd, 2008 1:54 PM

cloudclimber, it really does sound like you are doing EVERYTHING you possibly can! I felt so much better with this pregnancy as I knew that I was doing the most I could do and that if anything went wrong that it was most likely due to random genetic problems. Keep doing what you are doing and definitely drink lots of water! I think that really helped me in keeping swelling and other later pregnancy issues at bay. I drink only water with some milk here and there (I take Tums for calcium) and once in a while I get a dr. pepper and just take some sips. I didn't do that till second half of pregnancy though. People think I'm neurotic I'm sure, but I feel better knowing I'm doing what I can. Bestest bestest luck to you and Jessica! I'll watch this thread for posts...

cloud9climber - June 23rd, 2008 1:57 PM

Jessica - here's a link to the best beta calculator I could find. It will give you your doubling time in hours instead of days. SO EXCITED FOR YOU!
