I had a miscarriage about 6 weeks ago. I never got AF, but I just tested positive. I don't want to get excited though. Does anybody know how long it takes for the ol' HCG to get back down to 0? I have the sore breasts, I am peeing up a storm and I am queezy? Should I get excited?!?!

After 6 weeks chances are pretty good that you could be pregnant again, however, don't freak out and too excited yet. Call your OB and ask to have your HCG levels checked --tell them why and they should be willing to do it --- then have it checked a couple days later. If it is rising then you're pregnant again. If it's going down then it's probably left over hormones. Also if you are pregnant again so soon your OB may want to keep a closer eye on you too so just call and ask your clinic or doc about getting your HCG checked. It sure sounds like it....same thing happened to me! Best wishes. I've heard you can be more fertile right after a m/c.

Hi cntrydiva2007. How did that turn out? I'm trying ttc after mc too, but mine just happened a week and a half ago so we can't try yet. I hope we succeed!

I hope this is it for you cntry!!! I had my 2nd miscarriage 8 weeks ago and I am pg again! It's exciting but very scary.

Hi Cntry, I second SaraH, get to your doc ASAP! they will check your hormone levels and give you a better idea of what is going on. I m/c'd last year in October and 4 and a half weeks later tested positive! I am now 16weeks pregnant and it seems healthy. Good luck to you!!!
