Hi everybody, my name is Angela, though I end up being just Ang most of the tie lOL. I am proud mom to 2 wonderf ul boys, Jacob (11yrs) and Shawn (9yrs next month). Both dificult pregnancies.
I am 7 weeks pregnant going by gestation. I learned I was pregnant when my period was a week and half late and then I started having cramps, thought it was my period but nothing but brown discharge. Took a home pregnancy test and it came out positive.However I was worried about the discharge and the cramping that was worse than my menstrual cramps. I madea dr's apt, and the day before had bright red blood on my panty liner, test at dr's was positive. Did vaginal ultrasound and the gestational sac was immediately noted as very jagged, the said almost looked like it was folded over on itself...no fetal pole noted or heartbeat. They also said that it looked like the sac, due to measurements, everything seamed to have stopped at 6 weeks. Blood was taken and an appointment for today made to do another ultrasound and blood work retaken. All this weekend, I've had cramps and what sometimes alomost feels like contractions...and pain in my lower abdomen and my lower back..like someone had an icepick on my front and back and they were trying to force them through to make them touch in the middle. The brown discharge stopped after the red blood I had right before my first dr apt. But last night and this morning I had thick mucus streaked with blood. I'm stil cramping and pretty dern painful, that has not let up at all.
Have I lost my lil one? I kinda don't feel pregnant now, my breasts are just slightly tender but no where near like they were.
