I'm not sure if I am having a miscarriage or not. I had one in January of this year after 2 ultrasounds, the first when I was 5 weeks 6 days and the second finding nothing when I was rushed to the ER. Now I am pregant again. With my history the dr had me come in for blood work twice (last time this past Monday) and hcg/progesterone levels were fine. Friday I started spotting had cramps. That evening it seemed to get worse although I wasn't soaking a pad, my dr decided I should go to hospital for u/s. I went, and again the hcg levels were fine, but only the gestational sac was found, nothing else. They diagnosed me as 5wk 6 days along and assured me it was too early to see a fetal pole/yolk sac so I should be ok. Ordered me on bed rest, and for bloodwork on Monday (tmw) and to schedule another u/s for Friday. My concern is that I don't have the breast tenderness I did before and last night my cramps were so severe that I literally passed out and slept for 11 hours, and that was after taking 2 tylenol. I'm still not soaking a pad or having enough bleeding like a regular period, but there is red blood some of the time. If my levels decreased i will know I miscarried, but I'm just wondering if anybody else experienced any of this before? I've read that they had some spotting and only saw one sac, but I'm wodnering if anybody experienced all these symptoms and still had a good outcome. I'm prepared to deal with whatever happens, but just wanted to see if anybody else was in the same boat as me.
